LEBANON, Tenn — Lochinvar, an industry leader in high efficiency boilers and water heaters, announces the addition of the NOBLE Floor Mount Fire Tube Combi Boiler to its current residential line of boilers. The NOBLE floor mount combi boiler brings to market a new, easier-to-install option for contractors and homeowners with models ranging from 110,000 to 199,000 Btu/hr.
The floor mount provides customers with the proven performance of a Lochinvar NOBLE combi boiler, but now in a new configuration for more installation flexibility. For additional application flexibility, Lochinvar strategically placed the water connection, venting and gas connection on the top of the unit. Additionally, the unit’s universal vent connector allows for a variety of connections directly to the appliance flue without adapters.

When developing the NOBLE floor mount combi boiler, Lochinvar focused on designing the unit for installation flexibility. The new model has a smaller footprint than most floor mount boilers, simplifying installation and service, especially in homes with smaller mechanical rooms. The NOBLE floor mount combi boiler also features Lochinvar’s SMART CONTROL platform—a unique control interface that provides an easy-to-use Setup Wizard and presents setup, system status and diagnostic information in words, not codes.
Homeowners can be assured that their home’s domestic hot water demand will be met with ease and in a timely manner thanks to the NOBLE Floor Mount’s 10:1 turndown ratio, domestic hot water delivery rate of 4.8GPM and an incredible efficiency rate of 95%.
Lochinvar’s unique fire tube heat exchanger design featured on the NOBLE floor mount combi boilers produces a higher heat transfer coefficient than traditional fire tubes. Thanks to the unit’s stainless steel heat exchanger, it can quickly transfer heat from the boiler system to the domestic water, satisfying space heat and domestic hot water loads even during frequent use cycles.
