NEW YORK — Lumifer by Javier Robles, New York-based furniture, lighting and objects studio, has introduced a new lighting line, The Hedera Collection.  A variation of Lumifer’s best-selling HELIX design, the new collection offers a continued exploration into the helix structure that unifies and juxtaposes organic forms with materials and methods developed and honed by artisans over the past millennia.

lumifer by javier robles Named after the genus of English Ivy, the Hedera Collection replicates its natural counterpart’s ever-growing characteristics as an adaptable lighting system that can grow, extend and readjust vertically and horizontally to a variety of layouts and application.

Embracing the modern design language, Hedera features LED lighting technology,  patinated brass or aluminum square tubing, and hand-blown glass spheres in different tones and textures, graciously and playfully assembled into a simple yet sophisticated and versatile lighting system.

The result is delicate, simple and adaptable products with seamless and beautiful details resembling vintage 1960s Italian lights but with a contemporary and industrial aesthetic that characterizes the revival of the luxury American design.

Products in the collection include vertical and horizontal ceiling lights, wall sconces, table and floor lamps, available in 14 glass finishes.  All products are designed and manufactured in the U.S and available for customization.  More information about the collection can be found here.
