A. O. Smith University Offers Comprehensive Training on Full Breadth of Water Heating Solutions

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (June 29, 2022) – A. O. Smith, a leader in water heating and water treatment, will use its July University classes to educate professionals on its broad line of water heating solutions. The A. O. Smith University schedule changes monthly and offers sessions on a variety of topics, including heat pump water heaters, servicing units, and tankless water heaters featuring the new X3® Scale Prevention Technology.

“Through A. O. Smith University, we aim to consistently provide premier training opportunities for our customers and contractors,” said Jason Leonard, A. O. Smith’s marketing technology and training manager. “To do this we focus our offerings on a broad variety of topics, and we frequently adjust our classes to ensure we’re highlighting what’s most important to our customers.”

One of the A. O. Smith University July classes will teach participants how to work on installations with multiple tankless water heaters. This class will include details on which water heaters feature Easy Link, multi-unit control or both capabilities. The course also provides instruction on connecting waters heaters in an Easy Link configuration, connection to a multi-unit controller, water heater activation and operation while in a multiple heater installation, as well as an explanation and illustration of reverse return plumbing. Finally, the class features a section on troubleshooting tips specific to multiple tankless water heater installations. The A. O. Smith University state-of-the-art broadcast studio in Ashland City allows instructors to provide real-time, full-scope demonstrations on a range of A. O. Smith products. Classes are taught on a two-way meeting platform, and there is a 50-person cap placed on all sessions to ensure participants have a high level of engagement with instructors, along with the opportunity to ask questions.
