Wolf Home Products recently announced its collaboration with the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) of New York, a not-for-profit organization focused on the conservation and protection of critically endangered wolves. Each year, the WCC offers onsite educational programs to teach thousands of visitors about the necessity of wildlife preservation.

Apart from its informational outreach and advocacy, the WCC also houses and breeds endangered wolf species like the red wolf and the Mexican gray wolf for eventual release into the wild. The WCC currently houses 21 Mexican gray wolves and 10 red wolves in its Endangered Species Facility.

New York’s WCC location also features a Wild Nocturnal Adventure that allows visitors to spend the night under the stars with 30+ wolves housed by the program. To encourage the continued education and observation of endangered wolf species, Wolf Home Products is funding and assisting with the construction of 12 new camping pods that will allow visitors to safely and comfortably enjoy an overnight experience in the wolf enclosure.

“At Wolf Home Products, we believe in supporting organizations that help our communities and environment,” said Craig Danielson, President and CEO of Wolf Home Products. “We are eager to break ground and support the Wolf Conservation Center in educating individuals about wolves, their relationship to the environment, and the human role in protecting their future.”

Providing Products

Also as part of its donation to the WCC, Wolf Home Products will provide decking, siding, and cabinets suited for WCC’s state-of-the art 4,700 sq. ft. education center in a remodeling project slated to begin in the spring of 2023, the company recently announced in a press release. Products to be donated to the renovation project include Wolf Perspective Decking for new and improved camping pods, Wolf distributed siding products for the WCC’s education center and camping pods, and Wolf Classic cabinets for the education center kitchenette.

“Being able to utilize Wolf Home Products’ large selection of building materials allows the WCC to choose products that stand up extremely well to northeast weather,” said Spencer Wilhelm, Director of Operations. “Plus, with decking and siding both being resistant to rot, bugs and decay, our new campus will stay looking great for years to come. We’re proud to work with Wolf Home Products because we value its expertise and look forward to having them join the WCC family in our support of wolves.”
